Automation World Readers Again Honor Invensys as a 'First Team' Supplier

Company leadership recognized in five key automation categories

JANUARY 09, 2014 / HOUSTON, TEXAS - Invensys, a leading supplier of state-of-the-art industrial software, systems and control equipment to the world’s major industries, has once again been selected a “First Team Supplier” in Automation World magazine’s recently completed “Leadership in Automation 2013” polling. The annual Leadership in Automation program invites automation professionals to vote for their favorite automation vendors in unaided recall surveys. Invensys was also recognized in the “Leadership in Automation 2012” program.

Based on reader votes received from a combination of website participation and a year-long e-mail poll with unaided recall, Automation World readers recognized Invensys in the following product and solution categories: Advanced Process Control, Alarm Management Software, Asset Management and Optimization Software, Batch Process, Continuous Process, Energy Management Software, HMI Software, Information Management, Manufacturing Execution Software, Process Safety, SCADA and Simulation Software.

“We are pleased to be recognized by the readers of this influential industry publication,” said Gary Staunch, vice president and general manager of Invensys in North and Latin America. “We take great pride in the quality and reliability of our products, solutions and people, and this sort of continued market recognition is a testament to the value our offerings and relationships provide to our customers and partners.”

“Judging from our readers’ responses and our discussions with them, we know they take this program seriously,” said Jim Chrzan, publisher of Automation World. “Invensys should be proud of being named in so many key automation categories. I’d like to congratulate them and thank all the end-users who participated in this program throughout the year.”

The polling included nearly four dozen categories, representing the wide variety of automation systems, software and products in use by today’s manufacturing professionals across the discrete, batch and continuous process manufacturing industries. The “Leadership in Automation 2013” First Team honorees are being recognized in the January 2014 issue of Automation World, available at www.automationworld.com.
